Oh, Hi! Life Update before we get back into posting like normal....
Hey there kiddos! So, yes, I've been on hiatus....and OH SO MUCH has been happening! Quick little summary...
First of all, we ended up having the most amazing, over the top, glam, fabulous, platinum wedding I could have ever dreamed of! We went with a full on black, white, and gold theme, and based the decor and feel on a roaring 20s nightclub!
We honeymooned across Europe on a fantastic cruise, and ended our two week jaunt in Paris for the weekend.
Let me just tell you, every fabulous thing you've ever heard about Paris is TRUE. Every where you look it's beyond beautiful.
After the honeymoon we came back and opened our restaurant! (It's called Oy!, and we're located in Vinings, GA....so if you're in the area, swing by and say HI!)
We've been in operation since July of 2015, and it's been absolutely amazing!
I also definitely went FULL ON BLONDE!!
THEN in February of this year, we went to Turks and Caicos and, well....it was a REALLY RELAXING and FUN time....so much fun in fact, that I came home PREGNANT!
That's right....we're expecting a little girl at the end of July!
Really, I've been pretty lucky when it comes to any symptoms, other than the fact that apparently this baby HATES mushrooms and LOVES bacon...
Oh...and the size 2s are no longer in rotation in the closet of course.
Luckily I'm still able to work with an amazing trainer 3 times per week, which has kept me from going to complete jiggle!
We've got a lot of exciting things coming up, including:
- We'll be at the FIRST ANNUAL ATLANTA BRUNCH FESTIVAL this weekend, serving up treats from our restaurant to over 6,000 hungry Atlantans!
- The first week of April, the hubs and I are headed out to LAS VEGAS for our BABYMOON, and are looking forward to staying in the Aria Sky Suites for the first time, so of course, I'll be sharing the experience with you all!
- BABY SHOWER PLANNING....We're going full on 80s dress up co-ed party, complete with lots of cocktails (and maybe a few mocktails for this chickee)
- POSSIBLY looking for a new house...and then the fun of decorating that place, or at the very least, building a fabulous nursery for our little princess!
- At the END OF APRIL, I will also be part of #TakeOverTuesday for Yelp! Atlanta, and sharing a day in my life with all of their fantastic followers! Beyond excited to do that!
And LOTS MORE!
So, to recap, we got hitched, went honeymooning, opened a restaurant, got knocked up, and I'm now trying to stay in shape, figure out how to not be a pasty white beast for the next four months, still as excited and in love with makeup and beauty products as ever, and still a shopping fiend, only these days you'll find me browsing the racks of Pea in The Pod more than Herve Legre.....just saying!
